final major project

for my final project at college i am collaborating with my brother and designing an air ship port located in the team valley gateshead. my role is to design the interior and the layout. this will involve the shop, bar, gallery spaces, restaurant bespoke seating areas and a bespoke chandelier . one might say "a lot to take on for an individual". inspiration will be taken from the art deco era, however i don't want to completely rip off the styling, i am going to capture the meaning one would think of when discussing art deco being grand, luxurious, elegant, graphical and so on. i will blend this into a contemporary manner and make the interior its own unique style. fashion will play a big part in this and i will be looking closely to the summer collect of Gucci 2012.
