during my summer break i helped my brother with his back yard located in jesmond.looking at these images its hard to imaging the bomb site that it looked like before hand. At the rear we built a water feature with a steel grid on top allowing you to walk over , a nice divider between the plants and decking. we had to build small walls which would support the timbers and also to retain the water.
sadly i have lost all the images showing how we created the concrete planters, basically we built two carcases which we could pour the concrete mix into. this was a long spell of time creating these as you could imagine. in total it took us 3 weeks to see the finished design.
