eames lounger
eames lounger again is another form of inspiration for the gallery seats, the reasons fr this is i want to create the feel and design qualities the chair has. i find the design very interesting and unique as there are three main sections joined together with detailed brackets. from looking at the back the lower back piece its separate but from the front the leather seems to blend together with the base padding. i would love to incorporate some elements of this lounger into the gallery seating area.
final project ideas for the gallery zone
GVAL Chair
The GVAL Chair, by OOO My Design, is as multifunctional piece that can be a chair, a chair with a footrest, a chair with a footrest & a stool, two chairs, or a chair and two stools. Inspired by the rings of a tree that represent age, the GVAL is made from alternating sheets of bent plywood that create a similar ring-like pattern. The two footrest/stool pieces fit perfectly inside the chair for easy storage. You can pull them out to use for extra seating or to prop your feet up at a moment’s notice.

Chongqing Mountain & City Sales Office in Nanshan, China.
The inspiration for this 17 000 square foot real-estate office came from the hills that surround it. The space is filled with low-res mountains and valleys. Triangular marble facets form “cliffs” which line the walls and reach up through the double volume space. The theme is continued on the floor with intricate, irregularly sized triangular inlays creating a space ages mosaic. Sharp cuts in the cliff face, like fissures in a mountain side lead to a cave-like staircase. From the ceiling, long LED lights hang. These lights are said to be inspired by rain, and one can easily imagine the streaks of light formed by falling drops in a midnight thunderstorm. Custom-made bronze reception desks are scattered around like chunks of ore.
While the space is imbued with the monolithic and timeless spirit of stone, there is a certain dynamism to the design. the high ceilings create a feeling of airiness balanced with the subdued color palette and high level of finishing.

new style
for my up coming final project i have been inspired to capture more of an artistic stamp on my designs that are inspired by these selected images, the concept is simple by using photoshop and over laying layers to produce a strong visual, as i used to do for my automotive designs this is something that isn't being done in the interior world. it takes away the boring sketch drawing and gives it life and excitement, drawing people to look closer.most importantly stand out from the rest of the crowd.
